Four Steps to Becoming an EFK Owner
At Engineering For Kids, we try to make the process for becoming an EFK Franchise owner as smooth as possible. The process takes four steps, outlined here.
Step #1) Learn About Our Opportunity
First, learn about us here on the website.
Then, submit a completed Request for Information form. We will then call you to answer any questions you may have.
Once we receive your request, we’ll provide you additional information about our franchise opportunity. You’ll hear from a member of our Home Office team to answer any questions about Engineering For Kids and how to buy a franchise.
Step #2) Get to Know You, and Disclosure Review
We will send you a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document then call you to answer all your questions about the FDD. We’ll also ask you a few questions to get to know you and your business goals a bit better. Engineering For Kids wants to make sure all of our Franchise Owners share our passion for inspiring the next generation of engineers, and has the proper background to make it happen. This step typically take a few phone calls to work through.
Step #3) Discovery Day
Here is where you get to see all that Engineering For Kids has to offer. Attend our virtual Discovery Day where our Home Office staff will educate you on our curriculum, show you a sample lesson, go over our business model, and show you our tech infrastructure and turn-key marketing materials. After discovery Day, we will call you to answer any final questions you may have prior to signing.
Step #4) Signing the Agreement
Once we have agreed that this is a fit for both parties your franchise will be awarded and training will be scheduled. Upon signing, you will receive your “Pre-Opening Manual” and schedule your initial training session at our Home Office in Fredericksburg, VA
